The portfolio should align with your preferences; in this case, you and the photographer should share similar tastes and perspectives on various subjects, stories, and events, etc.

The next thing to pay attention to is wedding photo series of 50-100 photos. You should see a consistent style, editing, and a consistently high level of professionalism. Cohesive wedding series is an indicator of the photographer’s skill and their unique style, which a true professional will never hide.

Try to understand how comfortable and at ease you feel with this person, and whether you could trust them to capture your wedding. Only in the case of mutual liking, can you possibly achieve comfort in working together, which in turn leads to excellent results.
